Overnight Pack Trips

Pack trips start out at the Redstone Stables where we meet to pack up gear , food and get everyone situated for the ride in.  From there we drive to the Avalanche Creek trailhead to unload the horses, pack the mules and begin our adventure.  Our trails starts up the valley following the roaring waters of Avalanche Creek, the winding trail navigates through the aspens, pines and open meadows.  Our 2 options for camps mainly depend on activities chosen and length of stay.  Spurs' Camp is roughly a 2 hour ride and Gift Creek camp is roughly 4 Hours.  Both camps offer great creek fishing, but Avalanche lake holds some amazing fishing for Cutthroat Trout and Brook Trout.  Once we arrive in camp its your chance to settle in and relax, your canvas wall tent, and padded cot will be your 5 million star resort for the next few nights.   Your guide(s) and Cook will take care of all the hard work for you.  Dinner will be prepped and eaten around a campfire, where night drinks and stories will fill your souls under the stars.  In the morning breakfast will be served before the days activities begin, hikes, relaxation, horseback riding, fishing, a visit to Avalanche Lake or whatever you can think of we will do everything possible to accommodate.  At the end of the trip we will head on down the trail, looking at the horizon for where our next adventure awaits.

All meals are made to accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and basic needs.

Avalanche Lake is a minimum 2 night trip (Gift Creek Camp must be used for Avalanche Lake due to distance)
